Man Who Killed Dad, Popular Leesburg Brewer, Photographed His Body Sentenced To Prison A 23-year-old Loudoun County man has been sentenced to prison for the grisly 2022 murder of his father. Schuyler Lake, of Leesburg, was sentenced by Judge James P. Fisher to 40 years in prison with 22 years and 11 months suspended for the killing of his father, Dean Lake, 57, according to the Loudoun County Commonwealth's Attorney. The suspended sentence is conditioned upon the satisfactory completion of forty years of good behavior, compliance with Lake’s mental health treatment, and five years of supervised probation upon his release from incarceration. Gun Fired During Schuylkill County Road Rage Incident, Troopers Say State police in Schuylkill County are looking for a driver who they say shot at another person on the road last Tuesday, May 28.  The suspect was in a black, newer model BMW SUV on Schuylkill Mountain Road in South Manheim Township, troopers said.  During a road rage incident, police said the suspect pulled next to the victim and fired a handgun at a 17-year-old's 1989 Ford.  He was described as a white man in his 30s.  Anyone with information is asked to call PSP Schuylkill Haven at 570-593-2000.

Blaze At Mahopac Home Put Out With Help From Neighbors Thanks to quick action from firefighters and help from neighbors, a blaze at a Hudson Valley home was prevented from getting worse. The blaze occurred in Putnam County on Sunday, June 2, when a fire broke out at a residence on West Lake Boulevard in Mahopac near Rockledge Place, according to the Mahopac Falls Volunteer Fire Department.
